Almighty God,
give us a fresh sense of belonging,
so that we may be able to recognise
once again that we are your sons and daughters,
and see that in others as well.
Strengthen our spirit of community,
that we may develop a true generosity of heart,
giving to those around us
and being aware of people's needs.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
