St Zoilus was born in Cordoba, Spain. He is believed to have suffered great persecution under Diocletian who was the emperor. He was a martyr of Spain, and his relics were enshrined with 19 other martyrs.
Almighty and ever-living God,
as we reflect on St Zoilus,
we give thanks for his courage
for staying true to the faith,
until death.
