‘And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love’ (1Cor 13:13).
Today is the Feast of The Conversion of St Paul the Apostle and the above well-known quote from his letter to Corinthians, talks of ‘love’ being the greatest of virtues. We are called to love, that is central to our vocation, we should love as Jesus loved. Let us today use this example in St Pauls writings as we celebrate the Feast.
Prayer: St Paul
Almighty God,
We give thanks for your Apostle Paul,
who have bravely preached
and taught, to bring us closer to you.
As we celebrate his conversion
let St Paul be example for us all
to turn to you and give ourselves to you.
We ask the through Christ our Lord.
