Guide us in your truth and lead us to be open to your calling in our life.

You went on to proclaim God’s love and the truth of the faith.

St. Boniface, apostle and martyr, you dedicated much of your adult life to spreading the faith and organising the Church in modern-day Germany.
Your heart was fired up with love of the Lord and zeal for his Word.
You faced discouragement and failure, learning from both.
Help us to hear God’s message in our own moments of failure and to use what we learn to better serve God.
Help us to also grow in our love of the Lord and his people, giving faithful witness to him in both word and deed.

Blessed Christopher Robinson

God of love, show us our place in this world as channels of your love for all the creatures of this earth, for not one of them is forgotten in your sight.
Enlighten those who possess power and money that they may avoid the sin of indifference, that they may love the common good, advance the weak, and care for this world in which we live.
The poor and the earth are crying out.
O Lord, seize us with your power and light, help us to protect all life, in the spirit and the way of St Melangell to prepare for a better future, for the coming of your Kingdom of justice, peace, love and beauty. Praise be to you! Amen. (adapted from Laudato Si – Pope Francis)
